9:00 AM – Departure from Mombasa
Pick-up from your location.
Drive towards Kiembeni (about 30–45 minutes depending on traffic).
Enjoy views of Mombasa’s changing landscape as you approach the sanctuary.
9:45 AM – Arrival at Nguuni Nature Sanctuary
Quick orientation and briefing by the sanctuary team.
Pay entrance fees and optionally book a guided nature walk.
10:00 AM – Guided Nature Walk
Begin a 1.5–2 hour walk through acacia woodlands.
Encounter free-roaming wildlife such as giraffes, ostriches, waterbucks, oryx, elands, and a variety of birds.
Guides provide information on conservation and the sanctuary’s ecosystem.
12:00 PM – Light Refreshments and Relaxation
Take a short break at the picnic site or rest under the shade.
Enjoy snacks and drinks (bring your own or pre-arranged via the sanctuary).
Optional: Roast marshmallows at the bonfire pit if prearranged.
